A: Yes, you can.

Q: How long is the waiting period to move into a rental unit after rental application is?

A: It depends on vacancy availability. Call BRI’s office, (303) 202-6340, and ask to speaking with someone in the Property Management Department. They will share with you current information.

Q: Can you accommodate an applicant with a disability?

A: Properties that receive federal assistance will provide reasonable accommodations in policies and procedures, and reasonable structural modifications to applicants and residents with disabilities.

Q: I have materials and other items I would like to donate. Do you accept such donations?

A: Due to lack of warehouse space, we refer all building materials, furniture and appliance donations to Bud’s Warehouse, a fellow non-profit organization. You may contact them at (303) 296-3990.

Q: Does BRI fund Home Maintenance and Repair projects?

A: Although BRI is not able to fund Home Maintenance and Repair projects at this time, there are several funding agencies in the Denver metro area equipped to do so.

Q: We are behind two payments on our house payment; does your agency provide funding for payment of delinquent payments?

A: BRI is unable to provide monetary assistance to clients that are delinquent on their house payments.
BRI Home Counselors will, however, work with them to help homeowners prevent foreclosure and remain in their home.
If unable to assist them, we do refer them to facilities that may be able to provide some financial assistance in the area in which they reside.

Q: Are you a United Way agency?

A: No.
